GENEVA, SWITZERLAND DECEMBER 2013
A day in Switzerland. 24 hours. Done.
Although we didn´t have much time to explore the other amazing cities and mountainous sights that surround this amazing country, we were able to explore one of the most internationally recognized cities in the world--Geneva. Many worldwide conferences are held here each year, and there is no question why. This city sparkles famous. Everywhere you look--Mercedes, BMW, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, etc. This place just oozes in rich luster. Another reason we only came for one day. This place is EXPENSIVE. We decided to spend our daily budget on, well no brainer, FOOD. We ate delicious Swiss chocolate by a famous chocolatier (how do I get this job?), ravaged an amazing pizza made by a local pizzeria, and drank some awesome Feldschlosschen (yeah, good luck saying that one). Overall, I would probably say that a day in Geneva is plenty of time. I am more of a wilderness gal myself, so cities kind of have a less than appealing persona about them. I would have much rather visited the small towns in Swiss Alps, but I´ll just have to save that after I retrieve my lottery winnings. I´ll take what I can get!
